Midjourney Unveils an Experimental “Weird” Parameter
Midjourney has a new feature called the “--weird
” parameter. It lets you make your pictures look weird and edgy. Whether you’re new to AI art or have been doing it for a while, the “--weird
” parameter gives you a fun way to play around with your pictures. In this blog post, I’ll show you how to use this new tool and give you some examples to help you get started. Let’s get into it and see how we can make some cool and “weird” art!
Here is the MJ note on the Discord announcement channel :
Experimental --weird
command
This command makes your images look more weird / edgy
It goes from — weird 0 to — weird 1000 (actually 3000 )
If you want it to look weird AND pretty you should try using — stylize along with your weird
If you use — stylize with weird we recommend using a equal value for both parameters.
Let’s use three examples to do the testing and see what it looks like.
Example 1 : A Portrait of A Woman
For easy comparison, we first use a prompt without --weird
parameter.
Create a portrait of a woman, strength and resilience, gaze, posture, Her attire, pop culture and Art Nouveau, surreal, symbolizing, palette, earthy
--v 5.2 --s 1000 --ar 2:3
