Midjourney Unveils an Experimental “Weird” Parameter

Midjourney has a new feature called the “--weird” parameter. It lets you make your pictures look weird and edgy. Whether you’re new to AI art or have been doing it for a while, the “--weird” parameter gives you a fun way to play around with your pictures. Experimental --weird command

This command makes your images look more weird / edgy

It goes from — weird 0 to — weird 1000 (actually 3000 )

If you want it to look weird AND pretty you should try using — stylize along with your weird

If you use — stylize with weird we recommend using a equal value for both parameters.

Let’s use three examples to do the testing and see what it looks like.

Example 1 : A Portrait of A Woman

For easy comparison, we first use a prompt without --weird parameter.
